  • The National Food Safety Database Project

    This site provides food safety information that is used by the Cooperative Extension Service, consumers, industry, and other public health organizations. The database will no longer be updated due to funding cuts, but the site has a wealth of information on a variety of topics.

  • Economics of Food Labeling

    A publication from the Economic Research Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, which covers nutrition labeling, organic labeling, and biotech food labeling.

  • Penn State Food Safety Web Site

    The U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA), an agency in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides information for older adults and their caregivers. Their goal is to help older adults maintain their dignity as they age. This site provides a wide variety of program- and policy-related materials and demographic and other statistical data on the health, economic, and social status of older Americans.

  • Alliance for Aging Research

    A not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and independence of Americans as they age by promoting medical and behavioral research into the aging process.

  • A Profile of Older Americans

    These Administration on Aging reports from 1999–2005 on older Americans include the latest key federal statistics in twelve subject areas, including information on income levels, poverty, size and growth, health status, racial and ethnic composition, education, employment, housing, living arrangements, geographic distribution, and marital status.

  • National Association of Area Agencies on Aging
